Senior Lean Trainer

Waleed is a senior Lean trainer and transformation practitioner with extensive experience helping organisations improve performance through Lean, operational excellence, digitalisation, and people-led change. He combines strong strategic capability with hands-on delivery, enabling him to work effectively with executive leadership teams while also coaching frontline teams to build sustainable improvement cultures.

With more than 20 years of experience, Waleed has led transformation programmes across manufacturing, engineering, food and beverage, packaging, automotive, construction, and industrial services environments.
Waleed brings deep expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Strategy Deployment, Hoshin Kanri, TPM, Theory of Constraints, Business Process Management, ERP integration, KPI management, and data-informed decision-making. He has significant regional leadership experience across the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, India, and Europe, delivering both customer-facing productivity programmes and internal business transformation initiatives.

His work includes revenue growth, cost optimisation, operational turnaround, connected worker platforms, predictive maintenance solutions, and enterprise capability building.
In previous roles, Waleed delivered measurable impact including multi-million savings programmes, productivity improvements on underperforming production lines, new digital revenue streams, and the development of internal operating systems and governance models. He has worked with multinational and local organisations including SIG, BEL, Asfour Crystal, BMW, Toyota, and major industrial businesses. He also founded and led his own Lean consulting company, supporting clients with training, coaching, process improvement, and strategic transformation. His experience combines technical excellence with a strong people focus, helping leaders and teams build lasting capability, ownership, and continuous improvement behaviours.
