Bill has over 29 years’ experience implementing Lean & continuous improvement programmes in a variety of industry sectors in Ireland, UK, Australia, USA, Denmark and Central America. Bill has also accumulated academic qualifications in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Quality Assurance, a Lean Green Belt and an MBA.

Bill is both a Lean practitioner and Program Manager and has extensive experience in all Lean and sustainable business improvement techniques, project management, value stream re-engineering and process optimisation.

Bill has extensive experience in manufacturing and business process improvement programs. Bill’s more recent focus has been on business strategy deployment and organisational transformation. Bill believes that organisational alignment and Lean strategy integration are the key to delivering self-sustainable business performance combined with improved team effectiveness and morale.

This strategy is reinforced throughout the whole organisation using Lean and Six Sigma techniques, combined with effective KPI and governance structures. Managing and ensuring strategic alignment throughout the entire organisation has enabled Bills clients to improve competitiveness and more effectively meet Customer and business needs.

Bill's more recent focus is on Business sustainability and his capability now includes Carbon Footprint mapping and energy usage analysis. This experience is supported with a Certificate in Environmental Management from the IEMA

Bill’s digital capability includes proficiency in the Microsoft Office productivity tools and Power BI for Desktop. He is also experienced in supporting enterprise digital tools including ERP, MES, Auto-OEE among others.

Bill has been with The Leading-Edge Group since 1996 and has worked with a wide range of companies such as Prodieco, PepsiCo, Glanbia, Bord Na Mona, Gilead, IWP, Dairygold, The Culinary Food Group amongst many others. Bill has extensive experience in implementing and improving OEE initiatives with client companies.
