Senior Sustainability Consultant and Environmental Engineer

Irmgard Considine is a Senior Sustainability Consultant and Environmental Engineer with 14 years’ experience in corporate sustainability.  She specialises in environmental management systems, circular economy, carbon footprinting, and compliance with EU sustainability regulations (GRI, ESRS, CSRD).

Her previous roles included an Environmental Management Officer and Global ESG Manager.

She has worked on a range of projects, including ESG reporting, circular economy strategies, sustainable material and product design, ISO 14001 certification, sustainability ratings, product life cycle analysis, and carbon footprint accounting. Irmgard worked with a global brand to significantly improve their ecovadis rating, and she also authored two ESG reports. Most recently, she has specialised in guiding businesses through the CSRD reporting process and supporting them with Double Materiality Analysis. Irmgard is also passionate about helping SMEs adapt their business models to integrate sustainable practices effectively.

Irmgard has extensive experience providing environmental consultancy to small/micro business and has for a number of years now been successfully delivering the Local Enterprise Office Green for Business Programme.  In her consultancy she combines technical expertise with client engagement, change management, and training delivery.  She understands the needs and challenges of small/micro business and through her engagement and guidance she works with small/micro business to help them achieve real change and measurable results.  With her can-do attitude, she is dedicated to helping SMEs become more sustainable, resilient, and profitable.

Irmgard is a GRI Certified Sustainability Professional and recently completed a Trinity College Dublin program on Creating Value with ESG.
