Originally from the charming village of Ballydehob in West Cork, John always had an eye for new markets and territories. This curiosity led him to complete a BA in French and German and adds to his formal education with a Postgraduate Diploma in Technical Communications.

John has built up an impressive 18 years’ experience in consulting and training in instructional design and the development of distance, on-line and instructor-led learning programs through a number of key product development roles held within leading learning solutions providers.

As VP of North American Operations, John is responsible for managing Leading Edge Group’s consulting and training team, while supporting client training, education and consulting engagements across Canada and the USA. Working closely with each of our accrediting institutes and universities including the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Ontario Hospital Association; Ontario Public Health Association and the Canadian Healthcare Association, John ensures that their program requirements and standards are consistently met and maintained.

As engagement partner for our client base in North America, John supports a wide range of organizations including major public and private healthcare authorities; acute/non-acute hospitals and facilities; medical diagnostic; supply chain, retail and public sector government organizations. He also provides strategic guidance and insight to organizations on developing a suitable framework to deploy and sustain continuous improvement. Client organizations that have benefitted from this support include Tim Hortons Inc., Aquatera and Guelph General Hospital.
