Lean Trainer and Consultant

As a trained Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Laura-Lee implements and coaches’ others to implement processes and people improvement across teams and individuals. Focusing on value-added initiatives and producing great results, Laura-Lee has contributed to significant cost savings, talent engagement and process maximization.

Laura-Lee’s experience spans Lean transformation; strategy deployment; process improvement through Kaizen; designing and delivering future state value stream mapping; implementing standard work and reliable methods; change management; organizational design and development and building Lean capabilities.

Laura-Lee’s support focuses on sustainability of both financial results and people behaviour through implementing and leveraging balanced scorecards; PDCA; Hensai and 5S. She has successfully deployed these strategies and tactics across many business sectors including human resources; project management; new product development; research and development; supply chain and marketing.

Focusing on training and building internal capability is an area that Laura-Lee is passionate about. She has trained white belts, yellow belts and green belts. Upon training completion, Laura-Lee provides mentorship and support to ensure a successful project application within the organization.

Laura-Lee holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario and has completed postgraduate certifications in Human Resources. She holds both Lean Green and Black Belts completed through Leading Edge Group.

Laura-Lee understands and acknowledges change management and works diligently and persistently to ensure that each Lean journey encompasses flexibility and sustainability for each person, team and company that she has come in contact with.
