Leading Edge Group sells Climeaction through management buyout

Leading Edge Group is pleased to announce the sale of its climate action consulting business, Climeaction, as part of a successful management buyout (MBO). Joe Aherne, CEO, Leading Edge Group, said, “Climeaction has been a great addition to our business since we established it in May 2021, opening up a new client base and market for our multiple service offerings. This sale will allow us to continue to invest in our core markets and focus on innovative strategies to grow international markets for our Lean transformation framework. This strategic sale will enable us to make big strides in Canada specifically where we are a market leader in the Lean training space in the Municipal and Healthcare sectors. There are significant opportunities in Canada to target other sectors while also expanding our training and consulting offerings. We have big plans for the future and are on track to double our group turnover within three years.
