Major Contract Secured with Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN)
The Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association (AHHA) in partnership with LEI Group commenced a Lean programme with Northern Queensland Primary Health Network (NQPHN) in March of this year. The programme encompasses the training of over 100 staff at NQPHN together with Office Administrators and key medical clinics throughout North Queensland. The first stage of the project commenced with training being conducted in Mackay, Townsville and Cairns. As a result of the training, we have now entered into a further contract to roll out training to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical services throughout North Queensland. We will be working closely with AHHA to modify our training to make it ‘fit for purpose’ for this audience. This is an exciting programme with the potential of it being a flagship for future partnerships with other Primary Health Networks in Australia.
This project will be delivered by our senior Lean Consultant based in Melbourne, Greg Kilbey. Greg has been working with LEI Group for the past three years managing a variety of Lean projects in both healthcare and service sectors.
